What model iPod touch 2 do u have? Mc or Mb?
If it's MB then try Redsnow..
If it's MC then try Snowbreeze (windows) or pwnage tool (Mac)
Both require DFU mode which with the corrupt firmware ur already in.. But snowbeeze nd pwnage tool will also put it into a PWNed state for CFW purposes...

According to Pwnage Tool's website it doesnt support ipod touch 2gs. Has anyone had luck with greenp0ison, sn0wbreeze or redsn0w? I am going to try greenp0ison and redsn0w shortly.

Same thing is happening to me. I tried with the newest version of redsn0w as well but it does not support my 'MC' model. Any other ideas?

This will not be a easy one bro... The only JB that you can use without putting it on DFU mode is using JailbreakMe. If you saved your ShSh Blobs, you can downgrade, but if not, you are stuck bro.
