That would help if he didn't brick his iPhone. But as he attempted to use iOS5 without granted access his phone basically got terminated, which now, he can't downgrade it and make it work. His phone is bricked. This is why the apple representatives said don't attempt to use it if you don't have legit access to do so.

i am a apple developer and have some open spots where i can register udids but it will cost you!
