Vbux is rewarded for helping !

I just bought an IPhone 4 from America, when I came back to my country i bought a Mini-Sim and inserted it, it said SIM Failure , I Wanna use my country's SIM not AT&T, People told me I have to jailbreak then use ultrasn0w to unlock.. i wanna know if it's safe, since i don't want to jailbreak and is it possible of unjailbreaking after unlocking it? or will it damage my phone?

It won't damage your or hurt your device. What you need to tell us is what's your modem firmware? You can find this by going to the Settings -> General -> About -> and scroll down till you see modem firmware. This determines if it's possible to unlock with ultrasn0w. Mine is 4.10.01 which is a bad modem firmware, by bad I mean I can't unlock with ultrasn0w for this modem firmware. Quote me with your modem firmware for further instructionsUpside Down Happy
