if you try and update your idevice it will extract the firmware and when it gets to verifying with apple that when you get the error

Update: the error has now gone away and everything seems to be fine

so i went to contact apple and waited 12 minutes to connect to someone :evil: eventually got through and this is what they said...

(the photo says 6 minutes but i was there a lot longer...)

not a solution yet but he told me to send them a email and they will ring me tomorrow. lets hope the error gets sorted soon

I already update my iPad and have this problem all you need to do is restart iTunes

Im getting this error I have tried like 5 times now

Its not really an error. Lots of people have been getting that cause everyone is trying to update it at the same time and the servers are overloading. I had to try 10 times before it worked this afternoon

the error has now gone away and should work now

i have restarted itunes and my laptop and still gets the error (the error gone now so were okay...)

tryed this and it didnt work. but everything seems to be working fine now.

i got this error all i did was restart my computer and it worked first time.

i have this problem with my ipad 2 still...
