(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Just thought I'd post a nice discussion here. I'm not going to talk about any other products except Apple here, please don't start fanboy wars.

Since I'm a little bored I thought I would ask the lot of you who enjoy the use of Apple products whether you think Apple is going downhill or not?

My initial response to this is, yes. I feel that Apple has lost a lot of ground in the market share of everything really. They are loosing laptop market share, iPhone market share and tablet market share. iPods are probably the lease affected if you ask me, since there aren't any good portable music devices similar to them, so I will give Apple that.

My next complaint with Apple is that they have been living in the past for quite some time unfortunately. They have not pushed any sort of new iOS features that even compare to the competition. (Not naming any names, please) I feel that Apple needs a huge iOS overhaul or else Apple will cease to exist sooner than later. I get that Apple has had the approach "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" but I feel like this only goes so far. I'm not using a 1984 Macintosh just because "it works".

I feel that Apple needs to change it's ways, and start to make iOS in general, better.

Feel free to agree/disagree down below, just make sure you don't start a fanboy war Winky Winky

Please try to keep this a friendly discussion.

Android has 72% of the market but you need to think about it,

Apple iOS = 1 brand

Android/Google = Loads of brands, with a shit loads of phones

No but honestly, if it works for you it works for you. I can understand why you enjoy iOS as I once did. The problem for me was that I want to feel like I am in control of what I buy. I was sick and tired of looking at boring old rows of icons. I wanted a different theme for each day of the week. I wanted to not have to turn my phone on to see if I got a notification. I wanted the ability to remove my battery and replace it so that I could have literally unlimited time of usage on long flights. I wanted the choice of using an unlimited amount of SD cards on my phone to watch movies and consume more content. I wanted a huge display so I could easily read text and watch great HD videos on it. It's obvious that our priorities are different from one another, and if you are happy, then it doesn't matter.

lol, i have been known to be very stubborn :p. But anyway, i get where your coming from.. Apple does need to allow customization. It's ridiculous, hence why i mentioned it in my 1st post Happy. But yeah, the only real way of iOS customization is Jailbreak, but that's frowned up stare. They need to give user users more of a choice to what we can. Take this an example, my mom has the Samsung Note ( i think it is :/. Its like a mini tablet, its huge for a phone. ), she currently has a christmas background on her home screen.. there is this little wooden house on the snowy mountains, but there is a flickering light coming from the frosty windows and there are snow flakes falling all around the screen. Thats what iOS needs, the option to have animated backgrounds! imo a iOS facelift is required sooner rather than later Smile.

Apple will die if it is not going to be inventive and capture the imagination of it's users. I am moving away form Windows. Windows continuous cost for anti-virus and degradation of the operating system's performance over time is the pits.

Right now Apple is the first company predicted to hit 1 Trillion. So I don't see Apple going downhill and with fans like me, I'm waiting for the next iPhone to be released because I'm definitely buying it release day.

i think even if apple releases their OS freely to windows users a last ditch attempt to keep the company alive they would hit jackpot or even make a scaled down laptop and desktop all in one i mean a 15inch laptop a intel pentium and 4gb of ram shouldn't be hard to price at like $550 or a 21in all in one with a pentium and a 1900x 1080 screen shouldn't be hard since i know there screens are high end which adds lots of price. i mean make somthing the average joe can get other than a mac mini which is a solid pc
