I need some help with the topic in hand,
You see i'm going to get an iTouch but i'm slightly confused and need some answers:
1. How may genarations of iTouch are there?
2. Does both the 3rd gen and the 2nd gen have an external speaker or what?

Any help will be appreciated.

I dont think there are 8GB 3rd Gen iPod, i think its only 16GB+ that are 3rd Gen

I have 8Gb 2nd Gen and it really isn't enough space. It's full right now, only 1400 songs on it. If you plan on getting the album art for your music you may want to get 32Gb. The album art takes up a good bit of space actually. And thats one of the reasons i got ipod touch is because of the Cover Flow. But yea only $88 more for x4 the amount of space is worth it. I was stupid that i only got 8Gb now i regret it.

Yeah go with 32BG iTouch for yourself. Always better with a shit load more of memory. Oh, and go with the 3rd Gen.
