You were banned so quickly because of the sheer amount of XP you gained. Change the XP to 2,000 and it lasts much, much longer. I did about 45 minutes before a ban using this lower amount of XP (although I used 10,000). I received a message of 'temporarily unavailable at this time', which says to me that they issue a temporary ban because the lower XP threshold made them unsure, this was later changed to a permanent ban and I got the same message as you.

But based on our differing amounts of XP, that suggests the auto-ban is based on an XP/Score ceiling. So, in theory, if you play 4-5 games with the lower XP ceiling I suggested above, then dont play for a day or 2, you may be able to avoind a ban.
