If you get banned. Do you only get user ban or PSN ban?

Banned
yes, you get banned VERY fast. its because 3arc reads your hdd and scans it for package files and mods that change black ops 2 resulting in a perma insta ban(about 5 minutes or less)

i mod offline or not at all until theres a work around

So far from what ive seen only host Gets Banned ( Or any signed in account on hosts modded CFW ps3 ), I sumhow Lasted 2Hours on zombies no ban till next day ( modded obviously ), and in multiplayer i been banned almost instanlty, however i have come up with a method that lets me play online mods for Agesz (still eventual ban) but with the right mods still enough

U telling me they scan ur HDD without ur permission. - that is against OUR privacy u know. - and is there not some way to spoof it in making read fake data and not the real one? like when you sign into the PSN they read your PS3's History log's i l keep that clean i set it to read only so no more history logging.

You were banned so quickly because of the sheer amount of XP you gained. Change the XP to 2,000 and it lasts much, much longer. I did about 45 minutes before a ban using this lower amount of XP (although I used 10,000). I received a message of 'temporarily unavailable at this time', which says to me that they issue a temporary ban because the lower XP threshold made them unsure, this was later changed to a permanent ban and I got the same message as you.

But based on our differing amounts of XP, that suggests the auto-ban is based on an XP/Score ceiling. So, in theory, if you play 4-5 games with the lower XP ceiling I suggested above, then dont play for a day or 2, you may be able to avoind a ban.

why not set the XP to random some thing like negative numbers and positive numbers. make it look like the game is broken or corrupt, making them believe it is an internal server problem not an outside source.

... maybe add some of those system common error's. those command overflow errors or other stuff to make it seem that the server is screwed.

This is embarrassing lmao. That isn't a ban message, as Treyarch has a banning message since I was banned on Black Ops 1 and was told you have been permanently banned from Black Ops servers (due to the old combat training prestige glitch). What you are seeing now is an automatic kicking system. The player is getting to much XP per minute so once this is determined, the player is kicked like a warning. If this game is anything like the 1st (same creators/servers) then a ban message would have been displayed. Do you think they would automatically ban a player that got thrown into an XP lobby? What if it was complete accident? That one question is why there are no good banning systems in any COD game, and probably never will be.

Different Bannz... You were caught Boosting/Glitching Which means sumbody actualy REVIEWED your account, hense permenent or temporary ban depending on circumstances..
I Have Made Mods For Bo1 And Bo2 And USED SHITLOADS of test accounts which have been banned And i get the cannot connect to server msg on both, It is an automated detection system for modded game files ( from what i understand could b wrong :P ) And it appears to run at certain times, as i normaly dont get banned for hours if im on at 6:00pm GMT +8

Oh i also never clear my Ps3 history n Never been Console Banned Smile
