Hello NGU, I know there has already been many thread about this but I thought I would go ahead and take the time to explain to people who don't already know the reason why Black Ops 2 is putting bans back in action.
So, if you don't know already, Sledgehammer has joined the group for creating COD series games. They will start at the end of this year by releasing their first one. This means that there will be a 3 year cycle between each company also giving Treyarch another year and a half to create their next COD. However, instead of Treyarch spending all of this time on their next game they are trying to bring Black Ops 2 back up to standard by narrowing down on the modding and taking back in the ban waves and updates. As you all know the new camos they have inserted was only the beginning. There has been rumors that Treyarch might release another Map DLC but there hasn't been any reliable sources confirming the matter.
With all of this said, be careful when playing online as they are handing out insta-bans. I'm not entirely sure but I believe if you go online with a modded EBOOT or .self it is an insta-ban. So be careful out there when modding because they will not hesitate to issue you a ban. I have tested these things out and was able to go online with the normal EBOOT but when I switched to a modded EBOOT i was banned as soon as I clicked multiplayer. This is just a heads up.
Also, on a side note; Tell me below what you think about Treyarch spending their leftover time on Black Ops 2. Do you think they should be using this extra time to be improving their next game to be the best it can be? Or do you think they are doing the right thing? I personally believe they should be working on the next one so it will be better than the last.
