Is there a way to stop this? The Connecting to Online service notification goes on forever, with no way to stop connecting (O button).
This happens to all eboots I use except the original. Any fix?

I get this too sometimes but for me I just restart my console and load black ops 2 and when I get to the multiplayer menu I wait a minute or two before I hit play online and it works fine, also sometimes if I get disconnected from servers and then hit play online I get stuck with the loading and I just restart console and it works again.
How many eboots have you tried?

This happens when you click online at the wrong time. When you get to the menu wait like 40 seconds before clicking play online, if you click it early it does exactly what you said.
