I am running the latest version of Rebug D-Rex i'm changing my Active PS3 ID to CEX using rebug toolbox.

I then use PS3 Ninja to wipe my history and make it read only.

it is at his point where i am confused i have enabled my Internet connection and signed into psn that works fine (i have no CID ban as of yet). the next thing i do is start black ops 2 and then used CCAPI to spoof my CID. however i still seemed to get banned fairly quickly

could someone please guide me to what i am doing wrong. should i be using psnpatch to spoof my cid?

any help would be greatly appreciated.

also what would be the recommended way to inject mod menus into BO2?

Edit: i forgot to ask is it possible to run the game of the disk or should it be through multiman or does it not matter?

The reason your getting banned is because you are most likely not using a Anti Ban EBOOT.

I would say that you are not using an Anti-Ban EBOOT, i recommend downloading B777x EBOOT. It has loads of great feedback and has a lot of great features including Non-Host Aimbot. I recommend to run the game through Multiman because it runs a lot faster and smoother.

There are tons tutorials on how to install EBOOT's on the internet. Just search it up on youtube and i am sure you will find a tutorial it is pretty simple.

Here is a little tutorial:
1.Open up Multiman and make sure the FTP is enabled.
2.Open up filezilla on your computer and connect to the ps3 using your ps3 ip address.
3.Locate dev_hdd0 > game > your region of the game for Black Ops 2 > USRDIR
4.Replace the EBOOT in that location.

it would be easier to look up a tutorial.

Thanks alot for your help one last small question and ill leave you alone with the eboot installed ill be able to run any mod menu using gsc injector from my pc? (i do understand how to inject files)

Yes, using the EBOOT you will be able to use GSC Injectors and modding tools.
