I have read about how it's based on your overall performance compared to your last match blah blah blah but I don't get how my other account has the skull shield but the stats are worse than the account I'm on now.

Is there anyone here that could enlighten me on this matter? Or does nobody really know the ins and outs of how to rank up?

ask them to reset your zombie stats,it may take a month for them to do so,just tell em you get a corrupt message,then once they re-set it do a glitch 3-5 times and you will get shotguns.

Have you got to higher rounds also with less downs. If you want to rank up you have to be consistent for a few games you can't have any bad games.

It's all based on your K/D

Just get to a high round , if you need help let me know

its ur average rounds survived....trust me you can get shotguns without having any kills. i have done it

I only really play town / survival, the highest I've got is round 23 on solo and on 2 man. All I ever hear is that it's about your K/D but even when I get like 6/700 kills and 1 down (which is better than my K/D) I don't level up.

Your rank goes down if you don't play Zombies. Its the dumbest idea ever but its true. I was rank 6 but when I got back from a two week holiday, I was rank 2.

The only thing you lose when you go idle for awhile is the tally's (which means you also lose blue eyes). Why the fuck can't you people understand that? You're not losing your actual rank, you are only lose your blue eyes. I've gone idle for a month and came back with the same rank (shotguns). There are only 5 ranks in zombies.
1 One bone
2 Double bones
3 Skull
4 Skull with knife
5 Shotguns
There is no "rank 6."
Anyway, if you want to get shotguns then listen to timmyg52. All the little kids still think shotguns has to do with K/D... Its all based on the rounds you've been to. I can even prove it... I made a new account, got to round 102-114 with it a good 5 or 7 times in a row, and I slowly went from bones to skull, skull to knife, and then shotguns. I had 200 kills and over 700 downs with shotguns legit. That's a 0.2 K/D...
