Where do i put the patch.ff file? on the root of my usb?

I can't get it to work. I'm on bles01031 so i resigned the save from blus to bles, and put the cfg on the root as always and i dit also put the patch.ff on the root.
Now, if i go to solo/private match it doesn't give me those wiered map names and if i start a game i can only controll the controll sticks. all other buttons don't work.
Please help me.

it is a cfg but to use the patch and play online you need a jailbroken ps3 but if your gunna play solo you just normal for cfg no need for patch
