Why do people like the ACOG Scope?

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I still don't get it. The recoil with an ACOG on some sniper rifles is horrible. In the time that it takes for the scope to correct itself you would be able to shoot another person with a regular scope. Does it really matter if the ACOG has a better zoom with a regular scope you probably would be able to see the same target as you would with the ACOG scope. So why do people still prefer it over a regular scope?

the acog scope makes it easier for no scoping because it make the bullets go straight and more accurate. for regular sniping i use it if i dont wanna camp.

It takes about .5 seconds to scope in, and I can no-scope with it no problem
