wtf now why does matto say it works and other guys say it dont..

I think the reason why parts of this patch might not work is because when you use the in game rank changer, instead of just setting the stats themselves, I'm sure i remember reading you have to use a modded .xex (Not sure whether its worth looking into the PS3's .xex equivalent?).

well ill try tomorrow to fix it couse i was kinda confusing with the globallocal.gsc or how ever its called lol...

don't know if this is helpful bud if u do the same in MW2
and get a black screen u have the wrong patch for your BLUS 30072...

yeah if u get a black screen you have the wrong patch for the region u need to find your region wether it is blus or bles. But u can also change patch region

there is a tut in the mw2 hacks section

also i noticed the patch says patch.ff its named wrong, try naming it patch_mp.ff
