Once upon a time...

NextGenUpdate

i recentley played cod 4 modern warfare 1 for the first time in ages
whilst playing it suddenly said i had team tier at first i thought it was
a glitch but when the game finished my create class had team tier now
i may sound completely stupid but can someone please explain how this
happened and what are the benefits of this and how do i use it????????
on ps3 by the way thanks

Well you got into a lobby and the host was using the team tier patch and at the end of the game your classes were set to team tier. Correct?

LOL!

I was running Team Tier for a few days..... You could have joined my lobby!!!!

Getting back to your question......

If you didn't KNOW about the patch/glitch as you say then you definitely just joined a game while the host had the modified patch running. The "infections" only last until you back out to the main menu but you should have been instantly leveled up to 55>>that will stick.
