PACKZIP AND OFFZIP FILES:

put ur pack zip,offzip and your patch into the "pack" folder
open up cmd from the start menu
paste this in CMD and hit enter-
cd desktop/pack
then copy and paste this in-
offzip -a -z -15 patch_mp.ff ./ 0
delete everything except 0002cbcc.dat and patch_mp.ff and packzip and offzip
open up 0002cbcc.dat in hex editor
press "CTRL E"
start offset 1AC7
length 9E0A
save as "_weapons.gsc"

then open "_weapons.gsc" with hex editor
press "CTRL E"
make length 9E0A
open up "0002cbcc.dat" in a new tab in hex editer
Press "CTRL E"
start offset 1AC7
length 9E0A
copy everything from _weapons.gsc to 0002cbcc.dat
save and close
start CMD
Copy and paste the next line into the cmd-
cd desktop/pack
press enter
copy and paste the next line into the cmd-
packzip -o 0x0002cbcc -w -15 0002cbcc.dat patch_mp.ff
press enter
put ur pack zip,offzip and your patch into the "pack" folder

cause when i use the offzip i NEVER get a 000000e.dat

this is karoolus cod5 patch *best cod5 patch with mod menu too

There is a tutorial which says pretty much the exact same...look at the sticky thread at the top of this section. For the effort of making a video I nominated but the other tutorial is much easier since he has screen shot by screen shot on what to do + he goes in to detail
his tutorial shows u how 2 edit the rank files mine deals with weapons.gsc files
