So essentially I'm asking if you could just erase everything related to stopping you from doing that in 1.40, without the patch becoming corrupt or something..?

Reason I ask is that as things are right now modifying patches on anything besides MW2 is such a pain, with all the conversion methods being hideously complicated and often not working this would make hosting my own custom modified lobbies etc so much easier.

Okay, I've decrypted 1.0 EBOOT_MP.bin & I'm viewing it in HxD as we speak, but I see nothing about playlist ports. It's a big file so I may have missed them, but all I see is a load of dribble and stuff regarding God & UFO etc.

firstly the dvars were not taken out[/u] they were instead blocked[/u]
somehow the same thing with mw2 expect its with a patch_mp not a save file

secondly the eboot doesn't contain everything the common.ff does (CoD WaW not sure for CoD4)

thirdly if you are able to decrypt the 1.4 eboot as you said then why not upload it here and let us have a look cause up to this moment i have not been able to decrypt an update eboot just a regular in-disk eboot

According to Matto what we really need is the CoD4 debug patch, which is blocked using PKG Downloader. Find that and we could get this working me thinks! :dance:

Go to Game Data Utility at the very top, Look for Call Of Duty 4 Press triangle and delete and then Bypass using a proxy. (IDK if i helped but if i did could you send the rep to MGB instead of me?)
