STEP:
1. turn on call of duty 4

2. press circle when the update pops up.

3. go to multiplayer.

4. while in the multiplayer screen press the ps button.

5. go to sign in, and click on it

6. once you signed in the screen that asks for an update should pop up.

7. if done right if should keep you logged in after you exit the update screen.

8. if you dont get it the 1st time repeat steps 5&6 untill it keeps you logged in.

SOME ERRORS PEOPLE MIGHT GET!

you might get it to where it keeps you signed in, but when you go to multiplayer it says your level is 1 and wont search for any games, if that happens (i dont know of any cure for that yet) than turn off your ps3 and repeat steps 1 through 8.

3. open up your cod4 game save (thats on your usb drive)

4. paste the codes i gave u above in GPAD0_MP

5. save them than remove your usb drive from your computer.

6. once you've turned on your ps3, go to game save utility and find cod4 in game save utility and delete it.

7. than go to where your game saves are and delete the call of duty 4 one.

8. than while in your game save section go into your usb drive.

9. copy your cod4 game save (which will be saved into your pin drive).

10. start up cod4 and read the how to bypass the patch section above this.

You got my hopes up thinking this was a bloody patch editing TUT instead its sumthing thats been posted over a 100 times!!
