I had the same thing happen to be, but i changed my ip address from the one that my network is given by my isp, to my computer's ip on the local network... 10.10.10.105

to find your ip, go to start -> run.... type cmd and press okay.
when your command has opened, type ipconfig.
it will respond with giving you your IP, subnet, and gateway.

ok i got my proxy server to work last night, followed the instructions and everything down to a tea.

rememeber when you install something on vista run as administrator

also make sure u download the net framework 1.1 its vital then restart your laptop/machine.

make sure u have the make server download and the extended front interface.

and the ip has to be the one it gives u in ur cmd>ipconfig

its very very simple.

then its just a stage off manually going through ur internet settings until u get to the proxy menu and typing in ur ip address etc...

and hey presto works within 5 goes of bypassing normally first go

its a con dont try it it mucked up my hackes
