in command prompt i find IP ADDRESS: 192.168.2.2
and after that is subnet mask and blah blah blah....
is this where im supposed to find PC Ip address? if so why is it not working?

if you research the ps3 proxy server it states that in the recent 2.80 firmware update for the ps3 the ps3 proxy can not be used to redirect files anymore.... thats why you get the internet connection failed when using PS3 Proxy. In other words You cant replace the Patch. Dont Flame...just use Google.

well google must lie then lol as plenty off people have completed it lol and now have it working lol!

just gotta have everything done to a tee, also i use ps3 proxy to download stuff straight to my pc all the time from ps store! goes quicker and also install a hell off a lot faster lol
