I hope I'm not considered a n00b because of my low post count... I have been messing around with this code all day changing all sorts of stuff to try and get it right, I'm trying my best to get it to work but lunit's initial method and his revised one were so different that I've tried so many combinations of both methods and still got no further. I just want some clarification on two main points- is it 00 or 0a to join the files and which save comes first?

look up hex edit stuff on google and search for 00 or 0a....
thats your best bet cuz nonne that knows is tellin....

Seriously, I've got both Lunit's methods and have followed them to the letter, this is getting really tiresome... Sikh I took your advice and searched around about 00 and 0a and found out what they both mean in hex, one being "null" and the other being and line feed. But they don't exactly help me understand which one to use to connect the saves...

It wouldn't really be leaking if you gave me a hint as by just telling me one byte of hex will be completely n00b proof because anyone who IS leaching won't have a clue what you're on about.
