Just keep searching for a game until you're the host.

Then again, seeing as there are so little people on that version, you won't be able to if someone else is hosting a game, unless theirs is full :|

Upload a 10 minute video onto youtube, you can do this on the new update as well to get host 100% works for me without even trying. After you get host just cancel the upload.

Hope this helps.

use a lag switch, rig one up with a simple 2-way lightswitch.

lagswitches can go terribly wrong for some people that dont know what they are doing.
