Get all of your guns to 149/150 kills
go into a match and use each gun from class 1-5
aquire the 5000 XP
flick the switch or unplug your ethernet cable from your PS3
it will give you various error message, most likely "Network Connection Lost" or "You Must Be Signed In With A Valid PS3 Account" (or something)
Plug it back in or flick the switch back and you will have received the 5000 XP
Goto Barracks > Challenges and notice your guns are still at 149/150

You could probably still do it just turn unplug the wire

OMG will you just read my method^^^ seriously you do not need to unplug, stay in the game then press the PS button sign out and back in!

Im guessing the equivalent works for XBOX

I dont get it. If im in a middle of a game and hit the account management button to sign out, it just doesnt kick me out of the current match, but COD all together. When I start it up again then it shows that I got the points, but I really didnt.

What am I doing wrong?

while in the game after completing the challenge press the ps button go to account management then triangle then sign out then sign back in at the same bit. then you can finish or stay in the game and get the points

Ok right, im on xbox360 wireless.

I get 1000 points from my gun challenge and as soon as i get it i hit the middle button and sign out. I then sign back in and im back in the COD4 main menu (Find game, private mate etc.). It says i got the points and i unlocked ACOG but my exp bar doesnt go up. What am i doing wrong?
