I've used clientkick and it works, but I have NOT used banClient, but it probably works.
Maybe you know how to do this. I just have my methodology and heuristics to discuss.
If you binded enough things to ban ID's of certain numbers, this can be very helpful.
"status" gives you the ID's of every player in the game, along with some other information, but it's pretty useless.
You know the "kick all" command? Of course you do. It kicks everyone but you.
-banClient {player id} - Bans specified ID.
-clientkick {player id} - Kicks specified ID.
I'm pretty sure as the host, you are ID 0. Banning someone from a server will "reset" after you leave the lobby and make a new one, so if you get banned from someone's game, don't cry. You can't ban or kick yourself.
If you think about how to bind this and use this, it will be very useful, especially in certain gametypes...
So if you want to kick or ban someone from the game you do this bind dpad_right "clientkick" and or bind dpad_left "banclient"? so you have to keep track of all the people that gets in and in what order they get in? when you press dpad right or dpad left what happens?
Michael has great ideas but I've seen all his post and they are brilliant but he does not know how to explain things and I think he assumes that people knows what he is thinking....no ofense but that is the true....
Can you answer my questions Michael
Thanks in advance...
