In the first black ops Activision made a huge mess up with the snipers, they were ridiculously underpowered, they're was spots to use snipers from long range but it was no where near as fun as sniping on the Battlefield games. Personally, I think that quickscoping should be in the game as it is extremely fun and is one of the reasons many people have not gone over to the Battlefield franchise.

bo sniping was indeed complete shit, cod4 and cod2 sniping were the only ones that required any skill at all anyways...

they announced on twitter along time ago that qs will be possible i believe and they also said no aim assist for snipers

i personally find quick scoping is a waste and took the fun out of pretty much every cod game EXCEPT MW2 in my opinion...i mean you really gotta look at what quick scoping did to MW2..it simply made the multiplayer game what it was..that is pretty much why mw2 was so successful and worth playing in my opinion

Its funny how opinions change.
Back when BO1 was coming out and Treyarch said that they didn't like QS'ing, and that it was cheap, everybody was going crazy.
I was delighted, and anytime I made a post complaining about QS'ing, everyone went crazy at me.
Seems the tables have turned now

Honestly, why are people soo amazed by quick scoping? I hate it when people get a AWESOME sniper shot, holding breath and follows the guys head and the booom and then someone goes OMG what a hard scoper... well STFU!! Snipers are made to do that!!!

Many can quickscope and noscope but few can snipe.

I sure hope quick-scoping is in the game. That's the only thing I play for anymore.

Of course it being quite aggressive with the sniper saying that.
I do have a problem with a one hit gun that just down to timing.....it a massive balance issue. Yes i do know it sort of half and half....but most times it a instant kill against me before i can react.

Should be no way to fire a sniper before the scope is up. Of course the scope in time should be reduced as not to nerf the sniper.
This brings it in sort of line with COD4 sniping.
Black ops over did it and nerfed the sniper too hard.


Of course my biggest problem is people abuse the shit out of it just try and get cool shots. Get people who only QS that a problem QS a tool not a playstyle.
MW2 made it possible to turn it into a playstyle and montages did not help >>

Honestly I hope it is like Cod4 or BO1 since they made quick scoping too easy so now every 8 year old can do it since it is so easy

Personally I'm fine with quickscoping but I want there to be more of a difficult curve so all those 12 year old MLGs won't be able to quickscope but I will.

like back in the fun times of cod2 or cod4 then fucking retard infinity ward fucking ruined it
