(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Global games retail giant GameStop is predicting big things for the next Call of Duty.

The firm says that Black Ops II is the most pre-ordered in its history - and that this means the franchise could once again break records at release in November.

CoSad Awesome Black Ops II is due out globally on November 13th.

It follows on on from last year's CoSad Awesome Modern Warfare 3, and is the sequel to CoSad Awesome Black Ops.

The first Black Ops is in fact the most popular game in the series ever, beating out the Modern Warfare sub-brand which propelled the nine-year-old franchise in the limelight in 2007.

GameStop's bold claims came in a press announcement today that game service Call of Duty Elite will be free when the new game hits.

Launched last year, Elite formerly included subscription options that provided access to DLC and extra community features.

We are seeing the highest pre-orders in history.

With its current pace, this Call of Duty is on track to break records and is likely to be our biggest game launch of all time.

I'm looking for something new. MW3 got old fast and Black Ops still has somewhat of a ghost problem. I prefer Black Ops over MW3.

I haven't played MW3 in months, and I don't think I would play it again. I thought Spec Ops Survival mode was going to be fun when i saw it for the first time but that also got boring same as multiplayer.

I'm excited for Black Ops 2, not because its another Call of Duty game but because the amount that Treyarch are doing to keep CoD alive by trying new things and not just 'copy and pasting'. Its risky but I think its a good move.

You know what to expect when it comes to the MP. One thing that will get annoying is UAV's. UAV will help towards your killstreaks once a member of your team gets a kill. Well if that is the case then a UAV should be 6 - 8 kill streak then. you going to have people sit back and wait for the UAV kills to get towards your next killstreak. I guess it's there way of adding support.

That's a good point. I think you should tweet it to David Vonderhaar and post a comment here of what he replies.

I'm not surprised that they said that this year.

I work retail, and my game reps came in and told me the same thing. They said the same thing about MW3 last year, BO the year before last, and MW2 the year before that.

They'll say the same about whatever COD is next next year too.

Either way, I'm looking forward to release night. I'm ready to put MW3 behind me, and start a new COD tour.
