I think what you're saying is extremely naive. I do however, find your pensive attitude somewhat refreshing. I am hoping you are truly one of the rare people that actually enjoy the game instead of complaining. And you aren't just in the COD honeymoon phase with no perspective. People also aren't very objective so the complaints are sort of dumb. We complain about a guy hiding in a room yet forget we have air support up. We complain about Ghost yet use UAV and Portable radars all game. We try to force snipers to run around even though rushing with a Sniper puts you at a huge disadvantage regardless of how great you think you are at "quick scoping".

Call of Duty is a polarizing game series. Most if not all the games are good overall. They run in 60fps, are usually easy to pick up but can be very difficult to master and actually be good at. The button layout is near perfect, the audio is normally top notch, the replay value is there. COD games by in large are actually good which is why despite the bitching and moaning MILLIONS of people play it. The moaners play the game more than the people who find the game to be perfect.

Problem with COD isn't usually the game. It's the community. Black Ops 2 looks to be the greatest COD to come along on face value. However once people find glitches, abuse certain game mechanics and play the game for days on end, then we will all complain about it to some degree. So does it really matter if people have some negative view of COD if they buy it every year and play the hell out of it? Most of us say how gross McDonald's is but we still eat there and they make a shit ton of money.

So I agree the GAME will be great. It will not change COD. COD although changes from game to game is generally believed to be the same game year after year. So honestly regardless if this game is great, the greatest or tanks we will play it and it will sell the most units ever. And when MW4 or whatever new game comes out, we'll start this over the top emotion again.

This has happened every year after World At War(I think). A month or so before the release of a new CoD, everyone hears about new gamemodes, guns, etc. and says, "This is going to be the best CoD yet!" or something related to that. Then a month AFTER release, everyone says the game is garbage and other stuff. I'm not going to lie, I did join that "bandwagon" for MW2. I thought that game was just complete shit. I didn't like it at all. We'll see for Black Ops 2. I'm kind of excited for Zombies but i'm not really hyped up or anything for the multiplayer.

I don't know I'd say that. Ya they are implementing new things that will be very different for CoD (such as the pick 10 thing), but I wouldn't say that is "changing the franchise." Black Ops 2 is gonna be the 6th next-gen CoD, so I'm not sure it's gonna change anyone's opinion or just change the franchise. It's still just another Call of Duty game and we don't know how good it will be yet. Saying this a week before it comes out is the norm and happens every year.

The changes to zombies are very nice and it's what most people are looking forward to, I guess.

Well all the trolls saying this is just the reoccuring phase that happens every year; a lot of people actually stuck with Black Ops 1 after a couple months. It wasn't like MW3 where people just hoped off after 2 months. Black Ops 1 has over 100,000 people online every night that I'll play. It's still got novelty, after 2 years and I'd say that's a winner.

So all you shmugs who just like to say that people are stupid and don't know anything- maybe YOU will leave the game and go back to whatever shit, but I know that everyone else will enjoy the game for a while. I hated MW3 after a month, seriously. It was just carbon copy with extra guns from MW2. Black Ops is completely new so go fuck a bucket of cheese.

BTW; I just got HALO4 and the moment I played it I hated it. They changed so much it's just too hectic and doesn't feel addictive.

Until this morning when I fired it up again it's every better then Reach!
