So far none of the leaderboards and player stats for any Call of Duty have been reset on release day and the same will happen with Black Ops 2 as David Vonderhaar confirmed earlier on twitter that the Black Ops 2 leaderboards and player stats will not be reset on release day and that the only way your stats will get reset is through breaking one of their rules. I'd like it if they reset the leaderboards before the game gets released. More fun if everyone has a fair chance.

yea reseting would just give everyone a fair chance of fun at the game because then you dont have people with better stuf pwning on the lowbies

I think everyone who is unable to get the game early would want them to reset the leaderboards.

everyone should be on a fair ground when the game is released.

They said they werent gonna turn the servers on until Tuesday when the game is released. So much for that tho :/

Some people do actually have access to online play and the leaderboards in certain countries...

I am not getting the game until Christmas when I get my WII U. By then everyone will already be maxed out anyways. But it happens. I usually get on release day but I decided to sell my PS3 for money to get my girlfriend a birthday present.

Meh. I am aiming for high win, accuracy and kdr but honestly isn't it hard as shit to maintain being on a leaderboard?

It doesn't really bother me but obviously it's not fair for everyone.

What they need to do is reset levels. Imagine getting stuck in a lobby of level 50+ guys with high killstreaks and good guns in your first hour or so of playing.
