So far none of the leaderboards and player stats for any Call of Duty have been reset on release day and the same will happen with Black Ops 2 as David Vonderhaar confirmed earlier on twitter that the Black Ops 2 leaderboards and player stats will not be reset on release day and that the only way your stats will get reset is through breaking one of their rules. Here's the tweet from David Vonderhaar himself.

Well yeah Treyarch needs to keep the people that got the game early happy. Don't see this being fair at all. Good thing I'm not a crappy COD player, I usually whoop up on these no lifes that play all day. We will see.

The servers should not be online to start with.....problem solved.
With a level gated unlock system i hate the fact they don't reset people on release date. Of course by that time it too late.

They HAVE to turn on the servers to test. What if something isnt going well id rather have it sorted before EVERYONE gets on at midnight..

Ehmm it doesnt bother me. I play the game for fun I dont care who's ahead of me on the leaderboards
