This Was At Around 9am GMT. It clearly states that "an" update (1.03) will be coming tomorrow to fix the "Ps3 Freezing" problem & hopefully fix the server issue's.

Update 1:
Some things this patch should fix:
Hotfix downloading problems (20.0.-1)
Game Freezing in the following scenarios:
- Game loading (Treyarch symbol in the bottom right)
- Game Intro (Most commonly what 'Activision' is shown"
- Switches between Multiplayer, Campaign and Zombies
- In Game
- Killcam/ Scoreboard
This update may also address some of the problems with matchmaking.
Update 2:
-Fixed freezing while loading the game
-Match-making streamlined (faster game finding)
-Changed Error From 20.0.-1 to 22.0.-1 (Thanks Treyarch)
Unfortunately the guys on 22.0.-1 will have to wait untill 1.04 or the next hotfix

A company as big treyarch it going to take time for stuff like this to be seen.
They fucked up big time without a doubt.
Trust me treyarch annoyed me when they said black ops 1 was running fine but it was the matchmaking which created most of that game issues along with MW3. Devs said nothing had changed from MW2 but after about 1 year of bitching long with proof. IW said the matchmaking was broken and being looked into.
Most of the lag issues comes down to wrong setup (something which I have sort of fixed that) and crappy matchmaking.
One of things I would do if i was treyarch would be 1 week worth of 2xp to say sorry for the issues.
I feel sorry for the PS3 guys I do. I used to play COD on PS3 but moved to xbox as just runs better.

I don't think it will even solve the 20.0.-1 cos treyarc don't even know whats causing it, I reckon the update it to just reduce lag, sort the freezing issues out and to sort the glitching graphics.
if the update doesn't fix 20.0.-1 then the game is going back to the shop!
Mine was working fine till the updated the playlist then once again the stupid server is unavailable message.

I am hoping a second double xp weekend. That's all.
I don't get why people always are surprised that COD on release week, sucks. It's given that they stick to the release month every year, or every 2 years for each company. I've only been around too see the releases of MW2, BO and MW3. And when BO2 came, I knew I was going to stand in line for the release, and all. To get on the game and think it would be "perfect" on the release version would be insane.
Yes, I am on PS3, no I don't get an error code, no I am not stuck on 20.0-1, Yes it freezes now and then, yes lag is there. But I don't even have 5 hours played. Know you are going to play this game for the next year, and just relax.
I am hoping 1.03 does fix alot as some people can't even get on the game to put 5 hours on it.
