I do understand your frustration as I was planning to go to get to 10th asap, looks like thats not going to happen , If you are having unusual problems please post them also or even if you have a temporary fix using the 1.03 update I have made 3 new accounts and on one I am 32, 20, and 26, so like I said, I understand your frustration.

i am the same. have tried 3 different PS3's and 2 different black ops 2 disc's. with about 10 new accounts. Still i get this error on all. even my friends who can play online cant get on the servers when they try my account. really is weird. and hope it can be fixed "/

Your almost inn the same boat as me, 3 different playsations, 2 black ops II discs, Restored my ps3, 4 different accounts, and i have tried on my friends ps3s also and i strongly agree I hope that they can fix it.

have you heard of putting your ps3 into your routers dmz by any chance? I have been told this may fix the issue but im not sure if I want to waste my time doing it if this doesn't work

Yes i tried DMZ with a static IP and my normal IP. didn't change a thing. i also forwarded ports, Still no luck. i got a network reset done as well and nothing so it cant be on or side!

the dmz does work, ive done it myself, ive also put together a whole guide on how to do it that and many other things if it does not work

i have tried and never worked for me sadly. and i have never ever had any internet connection problem's before Black ops II, plus my friends that can play tried my account on there PS3's and still got server error so yeah.

the only way to know for sure is to take your ps3 to there house and try there connection, if you tried their account it wouldnt work for you either i guess its some sort of lock-up on the account or something or so i've heard, but i havent had internet problems either, it just these ports that they have are being blocked, i have Optimum but i think their blocking them

definitely agree on the account lock up thing. because my friends they play just fine before and after testing my account. and i was gave a friends PSN info hes from Canada and it also didn't work for me witch makes me think its my PS3 MAC address/IP or something but then again there's my main account cant play on friends PS3+ISP ://

it should, just go to your routers setup on the internet or look at my guide and it should help you, if the problem persists then take your ps3 to someone elses house and check to see if your isp is blocking the ports, i included the ports in my guide so you can also call your isp and if they are blocking your ports then just ask them to unblock it, the ports they are using are sometimes used for some email sites so automatically sometimes your isp blocks the ports




yeah but again thats just my theory on it, double check to make sure your isp isnt blocking the ports though because they might be, and i dont think it has anything to do with the mac adress, its just the internet connection, check to see if your router has a ping blocker on, it might be that as well
