Remember that the prestige glitch doesn't copy the leaderboards, so they'll actually know the difference between the score in the combat record and the score at the leaderboards.

Is there a large amount of these guys on Xbox too?

Also I have yet to hear a prestige glitcher brag. Unfortunately for them you can't glitch your actual in game skill level.
