I have found that the main problem with Treyarch cods (for me anyway) is boredom. The game is fine but thats exactly the problem the game is not impressive but it also isn't extremely terrible its simply meh. This leads me to hate the Black Ops series again not because its bad but it becomes painful to play simply because i have no motivation to try because the game is so boring. This is only talking about the multiplayer the campaigns are rather good imo. Does anyone else get this maddening boredom ?

I did feel like BO1 was a overall boring game compared to MW2 and MW3. It was good but wasnt as fun in the long run.

BO2 is very good and any boredom associated is probably just from this being the 6th current gen COD and having FPS fatigue.

Again, the majority of COD players have kdr lower than 1.2 and w/l lower than 0.80 so honestly there are more players getting killed by "campers" than actual number of campers. Factoring in splitscreens makes it even worse. So you can give yourself and team blame as well instead of the generic noob excuse of "everyone just camps for kdr and doesn't play for fun".

Which presumes that 1.) Getting tons of kills and streaks isn't fun and 2.) presumes virtually anyone could get a streak simply by camping. The level of your competition tends to be a huge factor on how successful your strategy is.

P.S. you don't have to camp for Swarm. It would take to long and chances are a UAV will spot your camping ass and someone with an OP Skorpion(me) would flank you.

You can simply cap your home flag, kill 3 enemies while on B flag, capture B flag and then kill one enemy at C their flag and boom you have VSAT which makes Swarm piece of cake. No camping involved method of Swarms... I suggest taking COD break.

Also I am not trying to diss you. Just saying online gaming is a competitive thing. People will cheat as well as not care at all. Online gaming isn't for everyone.

Exactly people say vsats dogs swarms are camping, I played 4days with 469vdats called, 13k kills in Kc 9300comfirms, 500+caps In Dom,

You camp on this game it takes so much longer to get vsats and dogs escentially 19kills for dogs, this games makes you. Play obj if you want the rewards, what gets me is people call you a camper, oh look my spm is 200more than yours, Mm. I camp

Exactly people also don't wanna take responsibility. Of course a guy can camp and get Swarms if the opposition is bad. No good player is letting someone camp for Swarms even close to often. People would rather call someone a camper or say their weapon is overpowered before just accepting the guy is just better, is having a lucky game or taking advantage of the enemy being bad.

My best game recently was a 66-5 game where I got called a camper even though I had TEN flag captures and our entire team had like 5 VSATs each domination round. It's like who the hell camps yet captures 10 flags. I guess being in a Lodestar 2 minutes technically is camping? Not to mention I was using a suppressed Skorpion which has the range of a damn shotgun.

People never want to adjust. I think we all hate campers to some degree but at some point the smarter players figure out how to combat it while others keep getting owned.

I have to disagree, as I find this much more fun for me that MW2/MW3.

Reason being there is so much different content 3arc put to their games. 3arc develop better CoD games overall, IMO. The whole +10 system, plethora of camos to choose from, etc. keep me interested. I do, however, get bored sometimes.. and that's when I switch things up. I.e, using a shotgun or a gun I'm unfamiliar with or maybe even a riot shield.. but the best cure for CoD boredom is running with a few good friends in a party and talking shit.

Agreed. Most games I play, if someone I know is camping, I go after them. Just to ruin their day. I've camped also, trying to finish challenges like the bloodthirsty ones and it isn't the best strategy. I found my self getting attacked 3/4 kills in from the same general area. So, most players know if you're camping and will come after you. Camping is a lot harder than many people generally say it is.

I don't get bored when playing this game, I usually play with friends irl in a party chat and we usually always have fun talking and messing around in the game. For Ex: We have a Riot Shield sqaud and mess around.

Obviously people camp at times but there isn't anything illegal about it and honestly in BO2 camping has been nerfed. Ghost you have to move, most buildings have 2+ entrances, SMGs are dominant and you are rewarded for capturing flags and other objectives. so outside I'm not sure what else 3arc is supposed to do.

I was okay with the OP until I read his other thread saying streaks were overpowered and shouldn't be recycled and everyone with high kdr or streaks is a camper. Basically some rhetoric a bad player would spew.

Thats my point though playing the game wit reg guns and tryharding is boring so it forces you to use silly stuff like a riot shield. In cod4, mw2 even waw tryharding was fun. It was fun to smash the shit out of the other team but in Bo1 and Bo2 its not fun no matter how well you do.

I dont care how long it takes people do it and they dont deserve the streaks. It makes the game pointless.

you play obj and can shoot a gun straight streaks come easy, the game rewards you with streaks for doing objective work i bet your the guy who caps 2 flags in dom and those are the starters and then moan when my dogs are getting you out the building then my swarm is making you rage quit.
