Black ops 2 definitely has a lot more campers they do piss me off but the ones that piss me off the most are the ones that use the Target Finder.

Seems to me Treyarch bent over backwards for them in this game.

If they really wanted to eliminate them it would not be that hard but then I guess they would lose a few quid.

No, I generally only play Ground War with at least 3 friends which neuters campers significantly.

If you're a good rusher with quick reflexes and can make adjustments then campers are very easy to handle.

Most players accuse anything that gave the enemy the upperhand camping and if they don't say that, they'll accuse the enemy's weapon of being "overpowered."

Recently a shotgun guy killed 3 of my teammates near an objective so popped in an out of cover to kill him and heard him yell, "camper" as if I laid there all game as opposed to hearing his loud gun, seeing friendly arrows disappear and hearing my teammatea warning me.

So long story short. Yes I hate guys just sitting in doorways all game but contrary to popular belief most COD players don't just camp and the ones that do usually are easy to kill. If the only way you can have success at COD is if the enemy is right in front of you with an unsilenced weapon than try a different game. Countering camping on BO2 is probably easier than any COD in history so if you can't handle it just put down your controller...

No they didn't. Unless a guy is moving things like Ghost, MMS and emp nades makes camping easy to detect.

Kill confirm success is all about moving to pick up tags.
Domination gives you a huge advantage if you rush objectives.

Treyarch made it easy to at least detect camping and made rushing more rewarding than any other COD game. UAV shows all campers, I mean what more could they do but pull the trigger for you?

Target Finder is definitely trash but I'd argue that was more to help noobs aim as opposed to helping them camping. Technically you could use a Target Finder to help you shoot INSIDE buildings to kill campers.

most campers are scrubs so it doesn't really matter, what's really annoying is decent players pre-ADSing everywhere,
and i mean everywhere, lol.. i mean i get it if you know the enemy position, but doing it everywhere is just trying too hard :|

Camping is going to happen. Most of the time ppl are considered camping but in fact they prob jus got to a spot and are just checking to see if its safe. It actually makes sense if your playing headquarters or some objective game like snd that your whole team camps the bomb or secures all entry positions in hq. camping really is strategy. The only time it really begins to piss me off is when a guy is camping the same spot all game. You run by minutes later to get shot and for me i say is that guy seriuosly still there or he keeps going back when killed. However ill just wait for them and give them a dose of their own medicine. Im not a camper in the corner i am a camper trap waiting for a camper in the corner. Lol

Bo2 is camper game.. i never seen so much campers in any cod.. so anoying -.-

Camping was more of an issue in MW2 and BO1 than now. As was mentioned they aren't hard to get an on a team of 6-9 people you can't expect every person to be rushing 100% of the time. Camping has become an excuse more than anything. The guy who could successfully camp in BO2 gets his ass pwned the minute a good player is around. COD players overvalue their abilities. You could find thousands of Youtube vids of guys getting 100+ games and triple swarms rushing around the map so if they can do it and you can't something is wrong with you. If your kdr and w/l is below 1.3 and your spm is 350 or less than you probably just areny as good as you thought.

It's a really overblown issue. Unless you play tdm, HC or something only 1/3 of a team tops is camping probably with little success.

The minute you become dependent of that word you also become that guy that has an excuse for EVERYTHING ie; hardscoper, panic knifer, OP gun, hacker, no life, racial slur,etc". Unless you face unholy amounts of camping either communicate to take the bastards out or try to find a bad lobby with bad players.



You're exaggerating unless you never played another COD game. Call in a UAV and any camper will be revealed or can you not earn that? You not being able to kill campers is your issue especially in a game that is score and objective based with a Ghost perk that only works if you move. Maybe you should use Target Finder to help you locate and aim.
