Let's not turn pub vs competitive into those annoying PC vs console type arguments. Just like we know PC's are usually better than consoles, we know competitive gamers are usually going to be better than "pub stompers", in both scenarios generally the latter "Ain't got time for that".

Although I play pub I don't usually play solo so does that make me half pub? I mean competitive gamers have a whole other ruleset that somewhat neuters the game. If you have a team full of really good pub stompers with pub rules I think they'll win initial games since competitive would have to adjust a little. I still think competitive wins the race though.

Nothing wrong with being a competitve gamer but there is also nothing wrong with simply playing COD with some friends or solo to get away from reality here and there. I personally don't see the point of competitive unless there is money on the line.

This thread is showing the pretentious side of competitive gamers. I'm sure if big Youtubers like Sandy Ravage, MarkofJ, Dying Soldier, Chris Smoove and a few others decided to make a competitive team and had some time to play together they'd kick the shit out of your average competitive team. The difference between pubstars and competitive gamers isn't the difference between the best guy at the YMCA and Lebron James...

I agree with you 100 percent, I don't have a problem with public players and stuff because I for one mainly play pub now with mates instead of competitive. The only problem with public players are the ones that go around thinking there all this and that when they are actually shite Regarding your point that you think competitive is pointless unless money is on the line. I agree with that statement but again it's peoples preference as in competitive it takes a lot more skill and involves a lot more teamwork and tactics which in MY opinion is a lot more fun, whereas public is a lot easier.

Plus people like myself prefer competitive because it eliminates majority of the campers and also the people that use silly classes although most of them people that use silly classes take the piss for fun but it can still get annoying. But overall I agree with everything you say in your post, although my main reason for arguing in this thread is because people judge people off of youtube gameplays They shouldn't because that means nothing.
