Like in MW2 there was FMJ, this increased penetration damage.
I think CODBO should have different ammo unlocks in this order.

100 kills:FMJ
200 kills:Tracer rounds ( This would be good for pointing out armored people/vehicals on the radar)
300 kills: armor piercing (due to the rumors of an armor system, as-well as taking out those pesty choppers)
400 kills: HE (high explosive) < Mainly for shotguns

They should make a button on the UP-DPAD to change ammo types like for the tracer you are talking about, since their non-leathal, it has no current use right now does it not?

Here's a good suggestions =D

Semi-Jacketed Exposed Steel Core - Those bullets have aluminum jacket with hardened steel core, exposed and pointed at the nose of the bullet. specifically made to deal with personal armor - I expect a Flak Jacket in this game since it is Vietnam era Happy

Also,

THV - "Tres Haute Vitesse" - "Very High Speed" (French)
*Light high-speed core-less bullet with high stopping power

Hopefully, slugs will be included for Shotguns as they were in BFBC2

that he round is called dragons breath. i think it has been confirmed.
you also forgot explosive rounds and phosphorus rounds as well. phosphorus rounds are kinda like the physics of the fmj but different. a fmj doesnt explode or it doesnt have a visible 'explosive' design to it.

as for explosive rounds they blow up on contact Smile

12 gauge slugs? hell no, have you ever shot across a map with them on? its ridiculous and with the amount of ppl that complained about the dreaded model 1887's I dont think alot of ppl will be happy with treyarchEek

when it comes down to shotguns etc they should make stronger bullets give you less shells.
for example
Say a shotgun with 8 rounds gets 4 when equipped with stronger ones.

normal 8 shells
FMJ 6 shells
Dragons Breath 6 shells (plus lower range)
Flechette (20 darts in a shell) 4 shells
Frag rounds 4 shells

Poison ammo: if someone shoots you its a 1 hit kill
Can reverse if you have a injector (New equipment) injector also gives you a health boost but weekens your firepower.
