The release of Call of Duty would not be complete without a limited or collectors edition featuring some kind of extra in-game content or keepsake souvenir. The contents of both packages are likely to be revealed at the GamesCom event in Germany next month, or closer to the games release date of November 9th, 2010.
Last year Activision published ‘Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2′ Prestige Edition bundled with the Hardened Edition and a set of night vision goggles, this year it will be interesting to see how the Prestige Edition of Black Ops could supersede that?
The retail price for both ‘Call of Duty: Black Ops’ Hardened and Prestige Editions are expected to be $79.99 and $149.99 respectively.

I Think'd be really nice for the prestige edition to come with a headset. I already own PX21's, but It'd be awesome to display black ops designed headsets! I think it'd also make the community "better" at the game, making headsets more widespread.

Anything but the regular edition would be pointless unless you got in game props. Such as campaign props or zombies props because multiplayer would be unfair.

Something cool in-game would be good, perhaps access to an alternate ending or deleted mission? Or maybe a custom gun online, something along the lines of a Gold D'eagle.
