(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); so I'm reading a lot that Treyarch apparently frowns on quickscoping? I don't see any problem with it, being that it's one of the few things in MW2 that takes some amount of skill, other than OMA toobs which takes none. On a side note, it seems to me like Treyarch is maybe putting too much thought into the whole online aspect of the game. Why combine perks and all that nonsense? Its worked for CoD4, W@W, and MW2, so why change it? If anything I think it may be worse as far as secondaries go if they plan on only having pistols and launchers. My look on it is 80% players using launchers and the other 20 using pistols :\

I agree as well, it's sometimes so bad, it's basically a sword-lunge in Halo. xD

The thing is I don't get why. Commando ok... but even without is it because of marathon and lighweight... maybe not I feel its something else because I remember when I sometimes knifed in CoD4 or WaW it didn't hit even though I thought it was a sure hit, I don't know why but other people often had the same problem with me what was better with it then?

I remember in CoD 4 that you'd be right behind a guy, you'd go to knife, and he'd move less than an inch away and you'd miss. That always pissed me off. : ( I never really knifed in WaW, though. xD

But yeah, I think the whole aim-assist + lightweight + marathon thing is why the knives in MW2 almost always hit, like 99.9% of the time. You're right on that one. Even without LW and stuff, it's like a 98% chance of getting people. I think it's because of the aim-assist, since apparently they really improved it or something. >_<

If you turned aim-assist off, I wouldn't doubt the chance of you hitting would decrease to a good 75-ish%.

I agree but don't call him an idiot because you disagree. It's his opinion.
However I do think that the No scoping mechanics epically fail... It needs to be more like BFBC2's Sniper mechanics. :carling:

I don't really care if they have quickscoping in Black Ops. In Mw2, I use a Bling Barrett .50 with a silencer and FMJ rounds. I have no need to "quickscope" a guy, because it will not ensure a kill. When I scope in with my .50, line the guy up in my sights, putting the scope reticule right on his forehead, and pull the trigger, the bullet silently travels "completely straight on it's path" will kill the guy. On the other hand, when I use a Sleight of Hand Pro Intervention, I have to get reasonably close to the enemy team, most often, too close. I can not "scout snipe" without a silencer, because I stay away from my team, and do not want to reveal my location. When you are trying to quickscope, you are well in the range of sub machine guns, and assualt rifles. If you miss your shot you will probably die, unless you're really crafty behind cover. And another thing, when I'm playing my favorite game mode, Search and Destroy, and I die, the thing i hate most is seeing my last alive teammate trying to pull of quickscopes. He always ends up not completing the objective, or dying. And as mentioned above, I always get called a "hardscoper" by some immature 12 year old. I just simply tell him, "Hardscoping is the only way to effectively use a Sniper Rifle to it's complete potential, and is the only way that I recognize."

Why would they not want people to quick scope? To me its fine. Especially since you can't take the scope off of sniper rifles (assuming it won't be like W@W). I like quickscoping myself when I'm bored.

On a side note for those people saying shotguns have to much range in Call of Duty titles you have no idea how far a shot gun goes in real life do you? Or any idea of a shotguns stopping power. The original Model 1887 was the best thing they have done with shotguns in Call of Duties since it was REALISTIC! If they make shotguns go only as far as a nerfed model 1887 or any other shotgun from MW, W@W, or MW2 I will be VERY disappointed.
