Earning COD Pts.
1. Just play the game like you were used to. It will not earn you money fast, but you will be awarded money nonetheless.
2. Secondly you can easily earn a lot of money with the new Wager Matches. You bet a set amount of COD Points to wager that you will be in the Top 3 players of that game. If not, you lose your money. If you are, you will earn a big sum of COD Points.
3. You can also do contracts, a new feature that's a lot like the default "Do x-amount of headshots with this weapon" challenges, but with a twist. Contracts include challenges like "Call in 2 napalm strikes in one match, without 40 minutes of play time". You need to buy these contracts and when you fail you loose your money. But if you complete them, you will be awarded both XP and COD Points.
By the looks of it, every 24 hours you can pick from a new set of contracts.
"FULL" Multiplayer Reveal
What you saw is what you get although the players were only leveled to lvl 25 (Not all weapons were unlocked and only four maps were presented).
When I said "We haven't shown everything yet" - the full quote was "We haven't shown everything yet; there are things that we didn't put in the presentation, but are there for you to find: like Host Migration, Prestige Leaderboards, In-Game Friends List, etc." --Josh Olin
No Gore in Multiplayer
There is no gore in multiplayer, and there is in singleplayer yes. Well there is blood and splatters for multiplayer, but that's it. The reason being simply because memory space, all these awesome new features didn't leave room for gore. What would you rather have Customization or Gore? The answer is obvious.
Tactical Insertion
Treyarch is absolutely sure it won't be abused as it was in previous games.
One major element of Tac Insert that has been changed in Black Ops is the fact that you can actually cancel your own Tac Insert in the Killcam. So you won't be spawn killed as easily as in the previous game!
And don't forget about the reporting system. Reports boosters and Treyarch is planning to make examples out of them by laying the ban hammer on them. Do this to enough people,
word will get around that they don't take too kindly on this sort of thing.
Tactical Insertions are
disabled for Free-for-All matches.

Various News
There will be another color added to display players the mini-map. Next to green (teammates), blue (party), and red (enemies), gold will also be added.
It will be for players that are in the lead for most (if not all) Wager Match game modes.
In Combat Training you will only be able to play Free-for-All and Team Deathmatch (alone, split-screen or online). Vahn stated that the Practice Dummies aren't quite ready to take objectives, or capture flags.
