All sounds great.. One little problem who's going too monitor the reports. I guarantee people (kids) are going too report you for slaughtering them. Yeah the reports can be checked with theatre mode too check if the report is legit. But who's going too carry this out.

Black Ops is going too sell more than MW2 so Treyarch are going too be receiving Thousands of reports each day from three different Formats.

This is why I have doubts in the Reporting system and I reckon very few will have the ban hammer brought down on them. I think only people with like 500 Reports against them will be checked out in theatre mode and banned.

So What are your thoughts? so you think think the reporting system will work or flop?

I for this system too work people posting false eports e.g (Getting Pwnd, But claiming they're glitching) should be penalized I.e Three False claims and you get banned or the XP you earn gets halved for a week


People are getting confused thinking im talking about kids reporting you. Its not that i was wondering who is going too look at these reports as they'll be in their thousands

Yea, I think they will not really take any serious action until a decent number of reports come in. I would imagine you would first recieve some sort of email as a warning and then if you get say, like 150 reports in a 48 hr period then they temp ban you and if you get like 300 reports then they perma ban you?

Dan Suarez did confirm that once you get reported they will go back and check the video and decide what action to take if any. I thought the same way you did that innocent people are going to get REPORTED just because you slaughtered some kid or whatever. But think about it I don't think they will go out of there way to implement this kinda of reporting system & recording all games and then slack on there VIDEO FACT CHECKER well at least lets hope not...LOL The question is do they do anything to you for "FALSE REPORTING" that is the real question here that would be what controls the false reports.

False reporters should be penalised to help combat abuse of the report system.

If you actually read the post, it isnt soley about false reports. He's more worried about who's going to monitor the reports. And i also think there should be a system where if you falsely report more than 3 times you should be banned for at least 5 days, and if you are temporarily banned more than 3 times, then you should be banned permantly for wasting Treyarchs time and being an ass to the communtiy. I dont think taking away Xp or anything of that nature will be constructive.

But, i do hope we get some more info from Treyarch about the report system sometime soon.

i agree its good 4 people who r actually cheating but when people get wrecked online they will do it 4 no reason jus look at xbox's system it doesnt even work. but who knows maybe black ops will work:confused:

Plus it will get abused by kids who get whooped real bad by legitly good players.
