All sounds great.. One little problem who's going too monitor the reports. I guarantee people (kids) are going too report you for slaughtering them. Yeah the reports can be checked with theatre mode too check if the report is legit. But who's going too carry this out.

Black Ops is going too sell more than MW2 so Treyarch are going too be receiving Thousands of reports each day from three different Formats.

This is why I have doubts in the Reporting system and I reckon very few will have the ban hammer brought down on them. I think only people with like 500 Reports against them will be checked out in theatre mode and banned.

So What are your thoughts? so you think think the reporting system will work or flop?

I for this system too work people posting false eports e.g (Getting Pwnd, But claiming they're glitching) should be penalized I.e Three False claims and you get banned or the XP you earn gets halved for a week


People are getting confused thinking im talking about kids reporting you. Its not that i was wondering who is going too look at these reports as they'll be in their thousands

I reckon They will have LOADS of moniters for the first 2 weeks at realease, and after christmas. Then it will slowly diminish. And go up again for double xp and stuff.

But they'd probaly have a computer check the score, and if one dude does completly smash everyone, or like someone said, a dude goes 30-2 and another goes 0-23 then they'd review that.

But If its not a huge score, (unless like 3+ pepole report from the same games) they probaly wont review, and they'd be bans for review abuse.

They'vr got it figured out.

They'll make billions with this game so they should be able to spare a few hundred jobs. Actually I'd be up to it if they're interested :p

So your thread was about who's going to manage the reports, yet 90% of the content in your post was about "kids reporting you" and "false reports."

Also, when you answered your own question about whether it's going to work, your answer had nothing to do with the management, just the penalties for false reports.

The only way you would be banned, is if MULTIPLE people reported you, one person that reports you isn't going to do it, and I assume if you get reported over an extended period of time, nothing will happen either.

thats why it was a good idea to put in the rec. gameplay cuz then you could just rec. then send it in. hmmm

i agree with this thread, there will be too many reports to check them all out, also there will be many false reports. Treyarch will probably read the first 1000 reports then get lazy

Im guessing that they will have a log of every player playing. Then when they reach like 5 complaints of one player they will check them out
