I'm stoked that Black Ops won't be plagued with "wannabee" quickscopers like Modern Warfare 2 is. Snipers will snipe and quickscoping will require skill.

As for the hardcore thing, quickscoping with rifles in hardcore have been in the game for a long time. Example (Gewehr 43 Telescoping sight Cod5, G3 Acog in MW, Fal Thermal MW2). Hardcore is packed tight with campers and very hard to find a game where people are actively moving.
