And well, Its already been hacked.

This mean's Treyarch have NOT done enough to prevent it from being hacked.

Lets look back on some things here...

Cod4 - got hacked then patched, But after a while you could bypass and edit your score with people who're also bypassed. Fair enough, You could add a million or two onto your leaderboard, Nothing wrong there.

WaW - Only few people hacked this, Hunter LOL.. Putting his score to maxed out.
Well people putting their score to maxed out shows a couple of things.
1. They think they're "leet"
2. They want to show off to friend's.
3. They want to "show off" to people.

Then after a while the leaderboards just went totally messed up, Everybody 11th prestige (nothing wrong with that)
Everybody with the maxed out score... I mean c'mon really whats the point?
You go into one game and get a couple of kill's BOOM your into -max score.

Then if you do this on a dummy account then if you have a real account that has real legit score.. well its no longer legit.

If you play 30 Days Played and you get 3million score.
Puts you around 50,000 places on the leaderboard.. then REALLY your not supposed to be there, Remove ALL the hackers and BOOM you'll be about 10,000

thats about 40,000 "hackers" who have maxed out score.
THATS NOT EVEN INCLUDING -MAX SCORE !

MW2-
Well well well... The game that kicked off cod "hacking"

Yes at first we had a little prestige hack and some other little things.
Then after we knew it, Here we are :O

Just like I said with WaW.. Your leaderboard is fake.
Go to #1 and go down, I bet you can't get to 20,000 without being bored of seeing max score.

Then go to bottom, I bet you can't get to 5,000.

Black Op's...

Well STILL if you can't get the picture I'll type it easy for you :y:

Whats the point going out and buying Black Op's when you'll play your heart out for hour, days or even weeks.

Then after A while you'll think "hmm, Who's #1 then?"

You'll go and take a look and they'll be 2 people with maxed score.

You'll be say.. 5,002 BUT REALLY because of the hackers.. your 5,000 on the leaderboard

Then after a week, You take another look and you've dropped to 50,000 and your like ":O WHAT I HAVEN'T STOPPED PLAYING YET!!!!!"

so you take a look at the top and everybody's got the max score, Ruining the game your £45 or $60 you paid for it and all them hour's you sat playing while drinking energy drinks.

Another words, Black op's will turn out to be MW2 with new maps.

wtf are you talking about?i was playing waw the other day and a guy was using noclip and godmode!!

who really cared that much about the leaderboards in mw2 though? me and some mates wanted a decent enough K/D but thats about it.

So in reality... Who actually cares about the leaderboards? I know I don't, especially outside of my friends list anyway. To give up an entire game, just an preemptive assumptions of what you reckon they'll do to hackers is just stupid in my opinion.
But yeah, each to their own I guess. You'll probably end up buying Black Ops anyway

Why give a f*ck about the leaderboards? All it tells you is who's played the longest and dedicated the most of their life to a f*cking game /facepalm

if you want to play the game to be at the top of the leaderboard then thats your problem, play the game enjoy it while its Fresh and just have fun/facepalm

I have never hacked a cod game and ppl that want 10 prestige and actualy payed for it are retards.

now glitches on the other hand are a differnt story. One of the first glitches found in WaW was a little trick with MG W/bipod gave you unlimited ammo when laying down, but was patched very soon after it was found.
Lets just hope Trayarch have some patches up there sleves.

I wish the leader boards would not be messed up but as long as i know i'm smoking all my friends on my list and i rape the average people in a public match then that's all i care about.

i agree with you i was 10,000 on Cod5 PS3 i wasn't working and just played all day and night basically and could never get any closer b/c of all the hackers so i gave up since i was slowly going down but i think its something you have to get used to with Cod games i wouldnt go and say im not getting it b/c 50,000 people think they are good b/c they spend a shit ton of money for an xbox so they can hack games the only reason Cod gets hacked is b/c so many people play it if everyone couldnt wait for MOH and it was the best game ever it would be hacked i would say just get over it buy the game since im sure everyone you know is and just play it its a stupid game something to do when your board

Almost 2 years later. Combined with their efforts on W@W (proof they care) and the recent vow to ban people i'm not worried at all.

2 years later. They've been focused on Black Ops lately. If you played W@W for the first year it was out, it was fine. Can't really say that for MW2 as it's only been out a year and I can't remember a day it wasn't hacked.
