(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Initially they stated you would be able to go on 2 PSNs at the same time to play online split-screen but this will now be only available for 360. So now the 2nd player can use a guest account but it resets to lvl 1 every time you restart the game...

@DavidVonderhaar - On Black Ops MP Splitscreen online multiplayer, can 2 people play online using their own accouns or one is a guest?

@Dodi_94 Lots of confusion on this. Most of it my fault. Guest accounts for both platforms. Xbox also allows guest or 2 Live profiles.

No love for PS3 =/
Thoughts?

pretty chill guy
Well, they are saying its a PSN issue, which I don't think is correct. I think they are just too lazy to implement it on the PS3 side of things.

Resistance patch 1.50 added this, so Black Ops should be no different. Shame on you Treyarch.

They said they would try see if it is possible via TU, but I'm sure they are just saying that so we get off their case.

At least I can fight
This doesn't mean it's not for PS3! "Guest accounts for both platforms. Xbox also allows guest or 2 Live profiles." He never said Playstation doesn't allow a guest profile. For XBOX he just said that it allows a guest AND a live profile. So Playstation only allows a GUEST (not a live) profile when doing online split-screen. Understand?

So on PS3 you can still do online split-screen, you just can't use two independent accounts. One has to be a guest, instead LIVE where two gold accounts can play. So nobody get confused about this! So you can still do it on PS3, but you can only be signed in on one PSN account instead of having your 2nd player be signed on to their own independent account. So the feature is still there for PS3. Make sense?

Microsoft paid to get DLC's earlier. Not to bash their opponent console into getting less services.
