Post: Possible punishments for those with BO early

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); So I base this on no source whatsoever, just pure speculation here. But my thought is that maybe Treyarch will reset every account at midnight on November 9th, so all the people who have the beta, and are ranking up right now, would be right back at the beginning on November 9th, just like the rest of us normal people.

Just my thoughts on what they should do to people who are already prestiging and what not.

What they would probably do is do a search for people who have say for example 12 hours playing time on the game before release, anybody who doesn't have a certain amount of time played will probably get reset, and im sure there will be exeptions (e.g 11 hours 20 minutes played probably wont get reset), this is just a theory tho, dont hate

So I just have to say, I hope they don't reset them if it's a legit paid for copy, if they cared so much about people getting it before the release date, there'd probably be a note saying, "We will reset the online servers on November 9th," in the MOTD.

Yeah too bad there is no "high-level guns" according to Vonderhaar, so I don't really care too much.
In reality, I or the vast majority of us aren't going to be in the top few ranks of the leaderboards. At all. So I personally don't see how it affects anyone too significantly? Sure there will be a few people here and there that have a prestige badge on the 9th, but it truly shouldn't affect anyone elses gameplay.. As I said before, David Vonderhaar stated in an interview that high-level players have no real advantage over the rest of the players, so thats what I'll be sticking by.
Some people are saying "listen, if you paid for the game and got it, you shouldn't be allowed to play online to make it fair for everyone!", their game they do as they will. No doubt if you had the game yourself, you'd be playing it.

I see what you're saying, but some people will have mastered the maps by then, and have many different guns. People have already hacked it, haven't they? So they would have access to every perk, killstreak, and weapon, against people with Default Classes.

Yeah that is true. But just remember, there is only a tiny fraction of people that are getting Black Ops that got the game earlier. Honestly, if you played the game on release day, you might come across someone who got it early like once every 50 games..

You got it :y: It'll be like W@W Boot Camp. If you keep joining different boot camps; maybe 1 of ever 10 tries will have a really high leveled guy that has just been playing it all day. Personally, if I see a high level; I'll just kill him, take his gun & call it even.

Don't get your hopes up. They won't reset the leaderboards. Frankly, I don't see why people would care if they do or don't reset the leaderboards. Majority of the people will be nowhere near the top anyway so why does it matter? Also, the leaderboards will probably be hacked anyway.

They'll probably reset. The guys' consoles shouldn't get banned. This isn't 3rd grade. If thry got it early, good for them, just reset everything
