But my thought is that maybe Treyarch will reset every account at midnight on November 9th, so all the people who have the beta, and are ranking up right now, would be right back at the beginning on November 9th, just like the rest of us normal people.

Just my thoughts on what they should do to people who are already prestiging and what not.

I assume it would be an entire reset or a console ban. Microsoft is doing a ban wave sometime during this month or next month.

Their not going to reset the leaderboards, when i got MW2 early when i had my 360, they didnt reset it and the only managed to console ban one of my three systems....so i highly doubt their going to reset the leaderboards for Black Ops.

Had the game since friday. You can play online but the leaderboards arent up so even tho some people are already prestiged they arent ranked yet. The only advantage of getting it early is to have guns that other people dont have. So stop whinning everyone its only a game.

it doesnt matter if they reset the leaderboards or not! because if you dont like the fact on how they got the game early to me its considered cheating. i understand that people worked hard to get a ahead start but its not fair to the world. so if you find someone with 12 hours playtime on the release date at 1201am just report them and let the black ops people take care of the rest

The story kinda works in each party flavor really.

Its unfair to those who can't get the game early and have to wait (come on a guy already on 1st prestige and know the maps?)

Its also unfair to ban someone who bought a legit copy that didn't know he/she wasn't suppose to play online because it states no where that "you must only play on the 9th at midnight"

Plus the servers was online a week before the release of the game.. so everyone is wrong at the end

Why would they reset it? Its not a beta its a legit copy of the game

They wont but if they do I will laugh, my mate got it today in the post so he will already be a bit higher online.
