1)all AR's kill in 3 shots (other then the semi auto's) but the famas has the fastest fire rate, giving it a faster chance of killing someone then any other AR
2) it has beautiful iron sights compared to some other AR's so a red dot or reflex is not necessary
3)the recoil on it is manageable and less then alot of the other AR's (also less then the ak-47, my fav gun :[ )
4)it is unlocked fairly early (level 14 i think) so expect to see tons of people spraying u with it

and for fair judgement, if you are going to pick the ak-74u as your overpowered weapon then judge it alongside with AR's because the ak-74u is an assault riffle and not an SMG.

edit: for fairness people, im not complaining about the famas, and i DON'T want it to be nerfed. im just listing some facts why IMO it is not balanced. it does not bother me because i still have a 1.6 kdr and use weapons i like for the feel of and not because a stat sheet says it is the best. and it gives me a greater feeling when i kill poeple weilding famas'. the only part i do get mad is when i get the jump on a guy weilding a famas and get shots fired on him first, see hit markers then i die first!, like wtf i started shooting u first, got hits on you first but because your weapon is a good 200 rounds per minute faster you got the kill.

and like i said, if you disagree with me or have another gun in your mind, feel free to post facts on why or why not it is sort of unbalanced.

I dont like the AK74u one bit, however I'd say its a battle of the Famas or the AUG.
I'm edging more towards the AUG

It's becaue of threads like these that we will see more and more nerfs in the future

What should happen is make it so if you spray don't control your fire. You lose the gun fight because the recoil too much. That not going to happen sadly which is a shame would balance the game even more.
Force some users to be more defence in there style....so i can see why it the way it is.

Close range should be down to seconds and knife should be dpad

If you ask me, no gun is overpowered. Everyone goes on about how the AK74u is overpowered, its not at all. It's just easier to handle than other SMG's so alot of people use it, and alot of people use SMG's for mobility. There's a difference between Overpowered and Overused, but i dont think many people understand the difference. Shit, if i come across someone with the AK74u at close range all i have to do is tap R1 once with my G11 and they're dead..... then one might say well the G11 is overpowered, well then i'll say the G11 is a 3 shot burst and if i **** up at my aiming then im a dead man no matter what gun you use against me.

People will always complain about something, it's just a shame Treyarch will surrender to these idiots crying and one day will end up with a game where you need at least 2 clips to kill someone.

It's going to be like halo pretty soon. Where you have to penetrate through the force field first then empty another clip into the guy, just so that you can get close enough to stab him, then throw a grenade and finally kill him....

i Really think there all balanced at least with all guns i can turn on them and kill them not like in mw2 where they get a shot your dead but i like a ak74u for s&d and it is powerfull
