1)all AR's kill in 3 shots (other then the semi auto's) but the famas has the fastest fire rate, giving it a faster chance of killing someone then any other AR
2) it has beautiful iron sights compared to some other AR's so a red dot or reflex is not necessary
3)the recoil on it is manageable and less then alot of the other AR's (also less then the ak-47, my fav gun :[ )
4)it is unlocked fairly early (level 14 i think) so expect to see tons of people spraying u with it

and for fair judgement, if you are going to pick the ak-74u as your overpowered weapon then judge it alongside with AR's because the ak-74u is an assault riffle and not an SMG.

edit: for fairness people, im not complaining about the famas, and i DON'T want it to be nerfed. im just listing some facts why IMO it is not balanced. it does not bother me because i still have a 1.6 kdr and use weapons i like for the feel of and not because a stat sheet says it is the best. and it gives me a greater feeling when i kill poeple weilding famas'. the only part i do get mad is when i get the jump on a guy weilding a famas and get shots fired on him first, see hit markers then i die first!, like wtf i started shooting u first, got hits on you first but because your weapon is a good 200 rounds per minute faster you got the kill.

and like i said, if you disagree with me or have another gun in your mind, feel free to post facts on why or why not it is sort of unbalanced.

Ye, its not the best for medium to long range, but if you are rushing stick extra mags on it and bobs your uncle. I used it for a good 10 or so matches and when in close quarters i was doing well because of its high fire rate and accuracy, sort of reminds me of the PPsh from Waw.



Agreed, to be honest, i really dont get people who are complaining about the knife, sometimes when i read what they say i just wanna give them an e-slap. They either got outplayed or they forgot they had an R3 button and cry. Retarded is the only word to describe it.....

ive used the famas a cpl times and i think its shite, so i dont really think its overpowered. unless i dunno how to use it lol

Guys, stfu about the knife system sucking. You are experiencing LAG, because of the overloaded servers, that on PS3; are shit to start with.

Umm, I'm pretty sure it uses P2P and not dedicated servers for gameplay, which is why we have host migration. I was the host, and I checked the scoreboard...everyone had 3 if not 4 bars. It was not lag. Also, the servers they use to host the stats and all are not based in Sony or Microsoft buildings. It's their game, it's their server infrastructure...meaning the server for one system wouldn't be better or worse than the other. And one other thing; in that video you can clearly see that I am about three to five feet away from him when I die...in both views. If it were lag, then I would've actually been shown as being stabbed in my assailant's camera view.

I truthfully don't care if I get flamed. I don't think anything is overpowered, the Ak74u was nerfed, it has slightly less damage now, the Famas is accurate, but has very low power. Every gun has its ups and downs, there are no over powered SMG's that can kill in one hit. The Ar's are either inaccurate or lower power, all the guns are fair.
