Anyway back on the cod4 days you could put ^1-9 in your clan tag by editing the save game and it would make your clan tag and name the color corresponding to the number. The carrot key and the numbers took up 2 spaces in your clan tag though.

What I'm getting at is in Black Ops they must have made the clan tag length 6 to accommodate the ability to color your name and still have 4 characters. If we some how decrypted the save game with hex editor and were able to pinpoint the clan tag offset, we could have 6 character long clan tags!

It's just an idea, and as I have no clue how to decrypt that I will leave you guys the challenge of doing that :whistle:

The game save is heavily encrypted plus there's already a glitch look on the Glitch section

It will not work.

1. It's basically impossible to decrypt it.
2. If you did decrypt it, there's still trying to find the clan tag
3. Now you have to encrypt it back, which is going to be just as hard as decrypting it.
4. Chances are, there's a checksum. So you'll have to figure out how to get past that
5. The moment you play online with it, you get reported and temporarily banned
6. repeat steps 1-6

Now do you really want to go through all that work?

R u sure everything is encrypted because in all other cods not all was I'll try to take a look at the gamesave 2 night and try to get my hands dirty tho

Yes the GPAD0_MP.PRF Is encrypted also unless you know how to decrypt it your just looking at a bunch of symbols.
